I see Court TV rising from the ashes - our local NBC station will carry it on a sub channel. However, I do not have good OTA reception; does Dish have any plans to carry this? I enjoy watching live court cases.

It would not surprise me if at some point they did at least for markets that do not carry OTA. I am surprised blugrass didn't ask that however.... :biggrin

No Court TV OTA here either, but they came on in many markets and others to be added later this year. They also are free on the Roku and Firestick. I don't believe it would cost Dish a lot to add it, as it looks like they want as much viewership as possible.A very good channel.

I was surprised Court TV ever went away. Compared to some of the other garbage channels, this one actually made sense!

My market is on the list for May 2019, but I just did a scan and nothing yet.

At least the aspect ratio of the talking heads were correct. Bounce and Laff on kjrh 2.2 and 2.3 are painful to watch in stretched letterbox.

It was a little hard to tell, with all the weather graphics and tornado warnings, which means they squish the main HD channel down to fit the graphics beneath the video, but NBC looks a little soft now with the 3rd subchannel added.

The channels with three or four sub channels have pixelatiing/blocking during fast scenes on the sub channels at times, their HD channels are ok but possibly a little soft. PBS has two different transmitters to split six channels (I don't know if equally) and there is less blocking and maybe a little sharper HD.

In Nashville, Scripps, the owner of Court TV, owns the top station in the market but another station owned by Meredith is shown as the new carrier on an OTA sub channel.
