I would imagine that D* will use it's multi purpose channel 95 for the NFL Network games, therefore it will be available but not as a full time channel.
I personnally don't see a need for it to go Full time, when mostly the only thing needed in HD is the games it self, I would guess that it would go FT next year maybe after the other sats go up and are operational.

Just my opinion,

Agreed; only 8 HD games on the NFL Network the entire season starting week 12 (11/23) through week 17 (12/30) everything else is fluff.

Hopefully NBA HD games won't take priority since they'd probably like to keep the League Pass customers happy.

Most of the NFL-HD games are Thursday night, which is TNT's night to have NBA games on, so TNT-HD will have HD NBA games on that night.

I still don't see that being an issue. D* should have plenty of bandwidth for the Thursday night games even with TNT HD doing basketball, seeing TNT is already accounted for and they don't have to worry about getting bandwidth for 13 addl games as they would for a Sunday, I don't see it to be a problem.
But then I and the others here are not calling the shots.

I wasn't saying bandwidth would be issue at all, never mentioned it in my previous post. Just that channel 95 should not have a scheduling conflict with the NFL & NBA HD games. Only the Saturday night games could have a conflict issue with channel 95, but I hope D* will throw up channel 96 or 94 to show the HD NBA game. On the bandwidth issue, there should not be a problem at all, since there are MLB HD games and NBA HD games being put up on channel 95.

I have a "gut" feeling that these games wont be on D* at least on channel 95. My reasoning is that they only showed one week of preseason games (the first week of preseason) provided by NFLHD. After that nothing. I bet the NFL Network wants them to carry the full time HD channel. That's why there hasn't been any game's of the week or any occasional NFLHD program on channel 95 during this season. Again just a hunch.

As for the NFL Networks replay of games on Tuesday and Wednesday, why are the HD games that are replayed not being shown on 94, 95, 97, or 98? Is it because baseball in HD is on 95? I know that the Bears game was an HD game but last night it was not on any of the 90's hd channels. Will this change after baseball season? Anybody have the info?

Ya know, I actually think there missing out on the opportunity to add viewers. On a weeknight with nothing on, I'd love to be able to flip over to NFLHD if they're replaying games or showing Game of the Week or, well, anything NFL related in HD. I'm actually surprised NFL Network hasn't forced D*'s hand a little on this.

That may change once the NFL Network package starts... Of live games that is, I for one have no desire to watch reruns of football games.

Why is every HD channel D* doesn't have classified as "fluff" by the fanboys?
