Im interested in going with the 120+ package to watch the mets games on sports net ny but will they be blacked out if im in texas?
First, that is illegal.I read on another post that if i tell them i moved to say new york that dish will switch my locals to ny instead of texas and that way i get to watch the games is that true?
Second, you would not be able to get locals that far away as locals are on spot beams. NY spot beam does not reach TX
I did not realize Dish still carried them on Conus.actually some of the NY SD locals are still CONUS (The big 4, WPIX & WWOR)
(some grandfathered customers in Puerto Rico get the NY stations)

so is that a yes? i would get sports net and wpix in tx?
Or go with a provider that carries Extra InningsYou can get WPIX now without "moving". You can add it to your lineup for $1.50 a month. Your best bet is to subscribe to MLB.TV if you want to watch out of market games.

Or go to the ballpark and see it live.
hmm...I dont think the OP is going to fly from Texas to NY to see the Mets play
