I plan on downgrading my Dish service from Classic Silver down to Dish Family in about a month. Will I still be able to view recorded shows on my ViP612 for channels that I will no longer be subscribed to?

I'm sure this question has been asked before, but I my search skills seem to be failing me at the moment.

Thanks,
jawgee

You wont lose any recordings if you downgrade as they are on a hard drive in your DVR,now if you downgrade to eliminate DVR of course you will(you would problably have to get a different receiver anyway or pay to not have the DVR function on,which is as much as having it turned on,so why would anyone do that?
To make it clear No you do not lose existing recordings in your DVR if you downgrade only, if you erase or DVR fouls up somehow.I have movies Ive recorded from HBO and Showtime in which I do not subscribe to now, but I still have available in DVR movies Ive recorded from the time I had the free Trial.

Should 722k lose OTA channels in rain?

722K Skip Back Inconsistent
