Yes, the spacing is correct on the 1000.4 so you should get a stronger signal. About a week ago I started a thread about repointing a Dish 500 to 61.5/72.7 and a lot of people responded that this is possible and many have done it sucessfully. However, the dish 500 is meant for 110/119 so the spacing is for 9 degrees apart; 61.5/72.7 are 11.2 degrees apart so the spacing is not perfect with a dish 500.

Oh, OK, thanks, if I need to mount a 1000.4 then I might just do the whole thing (assuming my neighbor's dishes don't interfere), makes for just one (albeit very heavy) dish.
