Why keep 942 if MPEG2 HD going away?

The only thing thats missing is ESPNHD for mondy nite football...so if you can live without it...and dont mind saving a bunch of money...go with the 942

ESPNHD is included with the old HD Pak, so he shouldn't miss a single minute of Monday Night Football action. It's ESPN2HD he can't receive.

942 OTA and T60

I am a current 942 owner and would like to keep my 942 and turn in my 625 for a non DVR receiver. Question how much would my bill be if I subscribe to T60 only and use the 942 for OTA HD?

Better qualify that statement. In my market, I get HD OTA from PBS and the big 4 only, and then only in prime time, and sports on weekends. Discovery HD alone has more HD in any 24 hour period than all my OTA put together.

The 942 came today, I hooked it up, called dish network, had them activate the 942, then deactivate the 811.

I'm recieving all the old HD channels, and the 942 works great
