Why Buy Equipment?

Does anyone know when E* will go totally MPEG4? This will render all the current sd receivers useless won't it?

They said within 3 years they hope to be totally MPEG4.

Thanks guys, some punk retailer in Katy Mills(Houston) told me the dvr fee would be waved. Just talked to a local installer, and he said(and confirmed over the phone) that the dvr fee applies if you lease or own.

I know it's been discussed before. Should of searched/read more.
I wish life was perfect.
And iceberg, man you intimidate me when i read the forums!! But I know you are very knowledgable. (yeah i'm just suckering-up so I don't get my ass beat through the monitor)
