Who is going to Win the HD War?

If there were no HD war, then HD DVR's like HD Tivo for D*, and E*'s model would not exist. If you check the net, you will see that HD DVR's were, and is, a big deal.

Please. You don't expect 200 million people to spend $1000 on HD DVR? When they become available for free or not more than $200 then you can call it HD war.

Why would networks like TNT, ESPN, and others even bother to broadcast in HD?

I like this one. Both TNT and ESPN have an HD program maybe once a month? Twice? I can't even remember...

Why is there so much HD sports? I get almost all my team sports in HD and still growing. . .

Your team must be Real Madrid :D :D :D

Why would Microsoft release Windows Media 9 which allow for amazing compression and viewing of HD videos? I purchased Windows Media HD movies like Terminator 2, and have seen the glory of DVD's in HD. I bought theses DVD's on Amazon for $14.

:D :D :D DVD in HD for $14 bucks?
HD DVD is still science fiction. If we are lucky we may be able to buy them in few years for about $100 piece.

My man, HD technology is very much in its infancy and it is not even clear yet when and how it'll replace SD.
