Sorry about the newbie question but I am confused about wheather I need a dish 1000 for my 622 dvr install that will be done this Sat.
I live in Phoenix and will be getting the HD package and the Voom channels. I am currently using a 942 receiver that I am upgrading to the 622.
I am not familiar with which dishes point to what satellites. I do know I have 2 dish 500 dishes on my roof connected to the 942. One is pointed southeast and the other is pointing almost straight east. I also have a OTA for the local HD channels.
Will I need a dish 1000 or any other dish besides what I already have ?
Also, I will be using the 622 for 2 rooms now and want to add a second receiver down the road for a third room. Will I need a switch also or is that only if you use 3 or more receivers ?
