If you are talking about coax from the dish, regular RG6 (as long as it's been swepted to 1.5ghz or more) is fine. Quad shielded cable is used mostly by cable co. & other installers that live in areas with high levels of interfearance, such as from local TV & radio transmitters, etc. Since there is normally no broadcasting on the same freqs as DBS, hence there really is no need for the quad shielding.
