This is the premiere resource for Sat info. But I am wondering if there is a central location for info on the new Dish Vip622? I am getting bits and pieces from the various forums. I am sure this is out there, but has someone put it in a central place? I am interested in the following questions:
What are the capabilities of the 622 DVR? Can it rewind shows to their beginning even if you haven't been watching them or telling them to record? Can it record two shows at the same time?
What is the price for upgrading? How does that compare to the price for a new dish user? (I was quoted a price of $300, to upgrade.)
How do the new dish HD offerings compare to the old? How much more will they cost extra a month. (I looked on the Dish website, but have a hard time comparing the new silver bronze gold packages to what was around before.)
