Ok. I just got a Directv LNB to use as my Ku lnb for my FTA On where I have set for AMC 3 I found some channels using the dtv lnb I think I'm on a Canadian satellite. All are showing scrambled but here are a few.

GLB-T, CTV-T, SETNA, A&E, SEXTV lol, VENUS, PLBOY, SRC-M, TQS_M, TVA-M

Am I on Canada's Pay satellite system?

Any FTA channels on this satellite?

If you can, swing over to 148west and scan, there were a few HD channels there.
I wish I could. A big hillside in the way. :( I haven't found a satellite past 113W but all the way to 72w :) I could go past 72w anything after 72w? I'd have to move my dish a bit but I could get something past 72w if anything is there.

If it is not the LNB from a DirecTV International dish, that LNB won't pick up any linear Ku, only circular (subscription pay satellites). You won't be able to get AMC-3 with it.

You need a linear Ku FSS LNB, L.O. 10750 (standard) or L.O. 9750/10600 (universal) to receive signals from AMC-3 and most other FTA satellites.

yeah you would need a different LNB to get KU. What you have will only get DBS

Humm...I have the different LNB but people said it wouldn't work attached to the side of my cband lnb. I guess I was beyond confused. I think I gonna stay pure c band and put a small ku band dish beside it.

I see now why most people have more than one dish. ;)

When the Dish is pointed at your True South Sat, start buy aligning the Top to 12 o'clock and Bottom to 6 o'clock, . See Pic.... and tweak from there.
