When will we se S339

I have seen this kind of thing back in Dec.
it is not the same thing I was responding to earlier.
i have no idea what causes it and in my case the search never found the one show I was actually looking for, but did record dozens of others I did not care about. I deleted that timer and most of the shows and I think I have stopped the problem. That was the only time I used search to find a show and never knowingly set any timer.

Yeah, at first I thought maybe that could have been it but as I looked into it and added to my post, I discovered what happened with mine was linked to my Timer. I have had that Seek and Record Timer set for quite awhile now, well before the S338 update. It was my attempt to work around having limited timers. I have a few other Seek and Record Timers for things such as The Crow, The Matrix, The Transporter, Wrong Turn, Spy Kids, etc. with the intention to catch movies in those franchises without requiring individual timers for all of them and to record any future airings should they ever come on. After lying dormant (since there aren't any Underworld movies scheduled until later in March) it seems to have just decided to record everything airing on Syfy, but I can't understand why it has a cut-off date. The unexplained change in the Timer's behavior makes me think the update affected it somehow.

I did recreate the explanation you gave for the creation of all of the unwanted timers for shows looked at, but it just seems so hard for me to comprehend that you couldn't be aware that you were doing this. It brings up a pop-up briefly and adds a colored timer icon to the Guide for each show.

Software or bad hopper?

Hws shows small preview in upper left hand corner when trying to exit dvr. Only way to get out of it is a reset. Records when no timers are set. Bridging is disabled. Lots of other weird issues as well.
