I would like to "SCHOOL" all you Newbies on here about Bschneider, First off he has been here WAY longer than you and knows more than you think. The guy have hardly ever been wrong about HD offerings from D* and the few mistakes that were made, was because of last minutes changes from D* not that he was wrong. Second, the man has insider info PLUS he has a Engineers card! Something I seriouly doubt many of you have. Unlike many of you who thinks your source, a CSR or a friends husband's father or another website, is accurate. That is nowhere near what we have gotten from Bschneider. We who have been on here longer than 1 or 2 years know who has the best info and we choose to listen to them because they have "credibility". If you don't have that please do not criticise those who do! With that being said, let get back on topic!!

This is my whole point, even if Bschneider is good and knows people like me, he never said on the other forums that it was delayed past the 19th, NEVER I read and read and never found where he said that one time. So if you want to "SCHOOL" me then show me where he said it was delayed past the 19th. The only delay that I know of is some of the local markets that Directv is not offering right now might be delayed.
If memory serves, BSchneider broke the news on AVS Oct. 2004 when D* and FOX got together to carry the Yanks-Red Sox series in HD. The WS, and then network HDs from NY & LA followed thereafter.
Untill I see Bschneider's Directvs CEO ID card ,I don't give a Crap if he been working these forms for 50 years. If I see him in the press conference tonight, maybe then I might take his claims to heart.
Dude, you really need to chill. I have not said anything about Sept. 19th. The delay comes from various other sources like, D*'s file to the FCC for early movement of D10, their qoute of being ahead of schedule and Mr. Mercer being qouted saying the 16th. Because of the problems with D10's spotbeams it had delayed any of these from taking place. As far as the 19th go,we who know D* past promises also realize that they rarely give dates and its VERY possible that the 19th is a fluke! Things happen and nothing is engraved in stone. I think I speak for everyone in that its better just to be patient and let them turn it on when they do! Dates are only tenative!

I mean, come on boydjp420, even if you do have "reliable info" and it would great if you did, resorting to name calling and challenging people about their or your monthly/lifetime income is unnecessary. In fact for every "factual statement" you make, you are discrediting yourself twice as much with your temper tantrums and yelling and crap.If you're right, congratulations. You are only the 50th person to mention that they KNOW it will be 09-19-07 when D* lights up the new channels. But then there have been just as many who swore that the date would be 09/02, or 09/04, or 09/12, or...heck, you get the picture.

ah, eric shanks, the same guy who was quoted in swann's website saying no directv channels would be turned off to accomodate sunday ticket after robert mercer told me otherwise.
