What's for dinner ?

Yep do the oil about half way up the side; maybe 1/2" deep max and cook about med-high (depending on the type of skillet) for 10-12 mins per side / flipping once (330 deg oil if you have a thermometer)

I think the prep will still work the same. Fry uncovered so get a splatter guard if you don't have one.

You can use a pasta pot, lobster pot, or dutch oven as a deep fryer too.

That's close to the way I do chicken, but I add an egg or 2 to the milk and do not drain & might add just a little cornmeal or pancake mix to the flour, then drain the oil and put some of the stuff in the bottom og the skillet with a little oil and flour and reheat till brown (adding black pepper and salt) then add milk to make the gravy...

I'm thinking since HIFI is gone, I need to get some wings. I can make regular chicken for the kids and wings for me, and then we are all happy. Not that there is anything different other than the outside of the chicken. It's a wing thing. :D Next time I go to the store, I'm getting some, for sure. :D
