I didn't watch it when it was first aired back in the 1890's on the telegraph. There are (5) people in our house. The majority of them have no idea what "dukes of hazzard" are and certainly didn't care that it was dropped !

HINT...I wouldn't use that one in your routine.I didn't watch it when it was first aired back in the 1890's on the telegraph.
Most Americans don't want to admit they watched it when it was out and in syndication. Those who are willing to admit, don't feel too good about it.I didn't watch it when it was first aired back in the 1890's on the telegraph.
Oh, Good Lord!!!Most Americans don't want to admit they watched it when it was out and in syndication. Those who are willing to admit, don't feel too good about it.
Claude, read the post #95 I made above and read the story with the link and see why I think changes are coming and they are inevitable.
It didn't seem to bury Suddenlink when they tried it.
The breakdown of bundles has to start somewhere and I'm willing to be part of the solution in this case.
It is still proportional Claude. Viacom is a "low rider".Yea but you need to understand that suddenlink is a blip on radar when compared to all other providers.
You see no real backlash because they don't have very many customers like comcast, directv or Dish.
Umm... no. I was referring to it being campy and dated.Sorry, I watched Dukes of Hazzard when I was younger and am not one bit ashamed to admit it. I don't know anyone who watched it that's ashamed either....
The f**king flag was nothing more than a sticker on the car, if that's what you're suggesting is why people won't admit that they liked/watched it.
Nope. I just didn't watch it. It didn't appeal to me. In fact, I thought it kinda sucked. I doubt very much if it drew a huge audience from NYC, or any of the larger cities, in general. Most Americans don't want to admit they watched it when it was out and in syndication. Scott. You need to banish Hall. He's blaspheming.Haha ! I don't watch it today .... because it's "corny". I could almost say the same thing about the original Star Wars (but I won't !!).
Haha ! I don't watch it today .... because it's "corny". I could almost say the same thing about the original Star Wars (but I won't !!). I have gotten our 6-year old daughter to watch it because it has a "princess" (Princess Leia) but parts of it just had me shaking my head - I'm a big SW fan too.
first off. Laughed to hard at both comments. Secondly, my girlfriend has discovered I am a Star Wars nerd recently, and so she went out and bought materiel to make me a head rag for when I ride my Harley out of Star Wars print. It's the little things...Scott. You need to banish Hall. He's blaspheming.
For the record, I saw the original, episode IV, nine times when I was 8 years old.Scott. You need to banish Hall. He's blaspheming.
I saw it in the theater, when it was first released. It really was a whole new type of space adventure film. (FWIW, it's not science fiction.) The effects, costumes, sets, and characters were all so well done. Somebody had finally done it right! For the record, I saw the original, episode IV, nine times when I was 8 years old.
I'm teaching, much to my wife's dismay (well, more like eye-roll-and-sigh) our 6-year old. Our 16 year old will probably be up for going to see the next episode at midnight too.
The Epix renewal in Feburary bodes well for a deal.
That reminded me, I did watch the movie that was done a few years ago. Jessica Simpson did a fine portrayalBut I only watched it for Daisy
