It is getting time for a new viewing system and have some questions about projectors. What should someone look for when considering getting a projector for the home theater? Lumens, contrast ratio, etc...... Thanks.

1. Budget
2. Room size, setup, windows - ambient light control
3. Projector format/native display/connection options
4. Projector Lumens
5. Projector contrast ratio
6. Projector mounting options
7. Screen needs

I recommend this model by far:

http://www.projectorcentral.com/Sanyo-PLV-Z4.htm

If you have easy controled light, you can save $$ by going with last season's Z3.
I have the Z3 and it is awesome. 106" - 250" of pure HD greatness for less than $2100 complete.

I also recommend this screen for typical everday use:

52" x 92" - 106" in High Conrast Matte White

or

HDTV Format Section also in High Contrast Matte White

call Robert at ValueElectronics.com and tell him Chuck at ChucksCoffee sent you.
