What to do with 'skew'?

Hi All,

Concernign skew and dish pointing. When aiming a dish to one sat only. Is this a matter on EL & AZ as the only settings needed? when I look up the settings I also get skew. I thought skew was only used when trying to hit more than one sat?

It's the opposite.
This is regarding Linear Sats, not Circular.
When using a Motorized Dish, the LNB skew would be Zero when facing the True South Sat. As the Dish turns, the LNBF will be properly skewed.

When using a fixed Dish, you must skew the LNBF.
