What new series do YOU think RTV will add to their lineup?

Yep, those are some of the good Irwin Allen shows voyage_to_the_bottom_of_the_sea.jpg art_the_time_tunnel.jpg

My local RTV affiliate went away a long time ago and I never remember it being promoted even when it was available OTA.

Yesterday while driving, I heard a commercial on a local radio station that was promoting the PBJ Network on a cable system across the river from where I live. I'm glad at least someone, somewhere is trying to promote something from Mr. Luken.

I would love to sit down and watch RTV again but I need something better than the current lineup to interest me personally and I know I'm not alone on this. I really hope all the ideas we post could be of help when deciding programming options or changes.

Bummer..... RTV is announcing on its FB page they´re putting back Tarzan Epic Adventures (1996). :( Nothing retro about it.

That seems like the only new (retro ?) series that they are bringing back. The rest of the lineup appears to just be a shuffling of their current programming. (when looking at TitanTV listings) :( I was expecting more :(

Sadly yes, also TitanTV listings show they´re bringing back I Spy, I was hoping they would make a better effort in resucitating the programming.:(

I mentioned this on another thread.. there are a few good public domain shows that would be an improvement over the current RTV line-up.
Its a shame it's not considered.

Cheers, K

They´ve announced on their FB page, the Cisco Kid also.
Anyway I think RTV´s situation certainly needed a serious change in programming if they don´t want to loose more affiliates and audience.

I hope you are wrong, but I also see the writing on the wall.

Me too. I don't like the thought of it, but the way it's been going, their future doesn't look good. :(

"RTV" has rebranded itself as "RetroTV" http://www.myretrotv.com/

The lineup has a lot of crossover from PBJ and MyFamily.

Funny now the emphasize the Retro name, but they have less actual retro programming than they did before, and certainly much less than ME TV, Antenna TV, COZI TV, etc.

You can get a fell for their lack of audience by the likes on their FB page, (METV around 46K, RTV just over 1K), and I read they continue to lose affiliates.

"RTV" rebranding itself to "retroTV" is an excellent move. Unlike others I happen to like some of their programming and it's going to get much better!

I gave up on RTV (RTN) about a year or so after they left 123W. There really isnt anything offered that I'm interested in watching. MeTV is much better and for my location available OTA. I haven’t tried COZI yet. I might have to swing the 6' dish over to take a look. Is that transponder (3870H 30000) pretty strong?
