I have Dish through ATT and it's mostly the same except I don't pay the fee for local channels. The're free. And we are restricted to what receivers we can get.

Yep, I'm a "bundled" AT&T sub and it took me 7 months of whining to get a Vip622 receiver out of them. They still don't list that receiver on their web site....

As everyone said. Same programming packages, but if you have AT&T DSL and local/ld you'll probably get some kind of bundle discount. I had my Dish installed early on in the relationship and had some initial problems. The customer service and follow-up was excellent, both on the part of Dish corporate and AT&T (then SBC).
