what is a wing dish?

before i got my new dish i was told i needed either a dish 1000.4(easten arc dish) or a wingdish. I was just wondering what a wing dish was?

A 2nd dish, usually for locals.

Basic setup in Northeast with HD not using the 1000.4 dish, Dish 500 for 110/119 and second dish pointed at 61.5. The 61.5 would be the one referred to as a wing dish. I would think secondary dish would be a better use of terms.
