you should get the converter when you upgrade to either the h20 and/or hr20. they should be in the box. if not, obviously you can go to directv's website and order some.

I got a HR20, a H20 and a R15 with a RU9 Dish.
I need to go pick them up today.

Ok went and picked up my equipment.
Only thing missing was the HR-20 (Doh) but I have the Slimline Dish, the R15, the H20 and the multi dish switch. So tommorow I will install it all. They are working to find me a HR 20, but in worse case it will be here on Tuesday.
