what do I need sat 72 and 129 or 119

Hello I think this is a begginer question
I'm want to get the most channels showtime hbo and movies better if is hd
Where I am the best signal I get is bird 72 ( I have a 4ft dish for that one), and I have a 8ft dish but I have to decide betwen 119 or 129 (the only ones I have signal), and a few legacy directv/ disnetwork LNB's
I Bought
1 dish receiver (DISH Network vip 222)
1 [FONT=verdana,helvetica,sans-serif]DISH Network DPP-44 wiht power injector[/FONT]

Questions:
1 best configuration of dishes I can use 72 and 119 or 72 and 129?
2 Do I need any special LNB or switch, are Hd lnb,s differents
3 witch one is the best package to subscribe to get more movies hd and sd

61.5 and 129 are DISH HD satellites, which can you see?

SD core programming and some HD is on the 110/119 set which is basically the same as 72/77 set. The HD is on 61.5 or 129. So basically you'll need a 110/119/129, 110/119/61.5, 61.5/72/77 setup... or the kinda odd one of 72/77/129.

Welcome to the forum. . Digiblur is right. I've got the kinda odd 72.7/77/129. Easier look angle here than normal 110/110/129. I have 3 individual dishes but since I had a .9 meter dish pointed to 129 before I move here it was easier to repoint it to 120 again. Then when I got the other dishes here I wanted my locals all in MPEG4 so went with 72.7 & 77. I also "moved" So that I could get all my locals in HD. Only 2 of my LIL are in HD where I live. When I move come next month about 130 N of here I will again "move" to another LIL so I can get the CW in HD as well as the big 4.

the lmbs shitches and box I have are compatible?

Legacy switches require legacy lnbs. DishPro LNBs require DishPro switches.
