what deals are you getting for 622

hey guys i have a 625 that i want to upgrade for a 622. i already have another 622.
but my contract is up and i emailed ceo@echostar.com and they offered me a deal of $149 with $10 off for the next 10 months.
is this pretty much the only deal available? or should i try and get a better one?

That seems to be pretty much the standard deal out there. Some people have a problem ponying up the initial $150

Well if you throw in the $120/month to receive all of the HD programming it starts to add up.

I remember when I was a kid (early 70's) and my mom had 'cable tv', or CATV (Community Antenna Television) as it was known then. She paid some ridiculous amount like $10 per month and everyone said she was crazy for paying for tv....
