HI!
I'm new to this forum but am on many other forums.

I am looking to wire my, 1956 built, 1 story house with a basement (open ceiling) for Dish Network (don't like Direct), and am trying to figure out what type of coax I need to use to be compliant with Dish. This is a 3/4 brick house (3 sides/ 1 side vinyl) and I don't want the coax snaked around the outside attached to my house. I will also later be putting Cat 5 or 6 throughout the house so I know I will need one of those plastic (?) equipment boxes too.

Is there a book or another site I can use that will help me with this?

Thanks! Pat (female)

RG6U would probably be the best. For best results run 2 cables to the primary viewing areas. Run all the lines to the outside point where you think a dish would be mounted. That way you will have the most options.
