What are my Options on getting a 522

Before I call the useless Dish help desk. I wanted to know what you guys now about getting a DVR 522. I am not on the DHP(or what ever they are call it now).

Actually, you dont. I signed-up through a retailer. We are not paying a leasing fee and we did not buy the equipment but we do have a 522. With that said, DISH is making it very difficult to activate 522s purchased through eBay or similar methods.
