What a six foot dish and a pansat 2500A receiver be use for?

I woulld like to find out if I have a six ft dish, a pansat 2500A receiver and a LNBF if it can be use in the southern caribbean to acquire satelite tv. By the I am new these things so I would appreiciate all of the assistance you can offer me. Thanks for your cooperation.

You can use it to pick up FTA stuff

You should be able to pick up most North American and Atlantic feeds.

If you use a six foot dish for Ku band you will shouldn't have many signal problems.

Also be sure to check the footprint of the satellite. Depending on how far south in the Carribean you are, you might be out of some North American beams...
