I order a setup from Sadoun's yesterday.. Looking forward to Wednesday/Thursday, that's assuming the snow don't hold things up to many days.

Got the compass already, just awaiting the parts..

M1 system (ULTRA,SM3D12,DISH,FSKUv)
90U dish upgrade with system purchase
SF95 satellite signal meter upgrade with satellite system purchase
FSKU-2v LNBF upgrade with system purchase
DKIT96 Free RCA Install Kit with a complete system purchase
SSM24 2 by 4 multiswitch

Very nice system, not a lot of folks here have that motor so it will be nice to have a comparison. Congratulations, now its just the waiting...... : )

Thanks

I can't wait. Several years ago I wanted to do this, but was afraid, but the cost to setup just for my wife, not much cheaper, plus I get the added advantage of FTA...

Rick

Well, Now that I am waiting, I have gone to this site to determine my Lat/Long. , also have my declination change from magnetic (11 deg, 42')

NOAA

WAHOO, ready to go.. Just need the dish. :shocked

There are programs that list the sat locations for your zip. satlocater is one of them. If you post your zip, or one near it, someone might post a list for it?

Here you go Rick! Take your time and enjoy the setup, an extra 5 minutes spent making sure the pole/mast is exactly plumb can save you 50 minutes later on! Also take into account the weight of the dish and motor as its enough to pull you off, even if it takes a few times up and down with the dish its worth it, have FUN!

Rick,
Send me a private message. I might be able to help. I live just south of you in Aberdeen. Welcome!

Thanks PSB and rjc3895, I appreciate the help, and will take my time to ensure everything is plumb, taking into account the dish, any tips on checking the plumb, any tools that can help.. I have a few levels, laser and a few water ones...

Forgot one thing. A signal meter will help get the dish close to where it should be pointed. They are like under $20 on E-bay. When moving the dish I also bring a receiver and tv out to the dish to get the best quality. Digital signals take more time than analog ones when it comes to pointing.

Good luck!

Thanks, Already got that covered as well, the SF95 from Sadoun is also in the Box.. FedEx, says it is in the truck for delivery, hopefully they get here before I have to leave for work..

Wahoo.. Got the stuff today.. Setup the dish, motor, and tested it with the receiver to see if everything moves and is recognized. Will be mounting it over the weekend.. It is going to be a long couple of days... Thanks everyone for all my early questions, hopefully everything goes smoothly with the mounting portion.

Rick
