Hi to everyone. I am new to Sattelite Guys. I recently bought a Sony KDL V2500 and Panasonic DVD player S52. I am putting up a Channel Master 3021 OTA antenna. I am a former Directv customer for 8 years yet switched over to Dish. I think when contract is over I am going bhack to Directv though. I love the Sony and free HD over local channels. Hope I learn alot at this site. Woodsmith

whats up everybody
i'm new to the site, been involved with satellite for about three years now. i love this line of work. i have recently been inquiring about becoming a retailer. in the meantime i was wondering if anybody has any info on how to get fulfillment work from directv. everybody i talk to wants me to have a crew of 3-5 guys before they will send anything to me.

Well hope to live in the background for awhile and try not to bug you guys to much.Belive it or not I have a Dreambox 500 for over a year and have never got it up and going. Reasons? time/extremely poor support from who I bought the unit/ watch alot of HD that stuff spoils you. That being said would someone point me to the first of the direction pages? Thanks again. Dass

Hello, just joined up here today, and just joined the satellite world today as well. They are hooking my DISH up today, I am nervous about it. Got fed up with my cable company raising their prices, and never adding new channels. They have added 10 channels in the last 20 years! I started out paying 20 bucks, and now its 40. Today, I get 200 channels for probably 10 dollars more, but much more variety. The company here is a major monopoly, they serve up phone, cable, and internet, and it is the only choice for us in a basic rural small town.

New to the site but the telecom world. I cut my teeth in it back in high school and haven't looked back. The only break I took from the telecom world was to do my military stint.
Started as door-to-door sales in HS and moved to installer, tech, supv and Manager both in-house and as a Sub.
It's nice to have a forum forlikeminded individuals.
I currently live in Sacramento, CA and as the name implies, I am an avid scuba diver (always looking for dive buddies) and wine lover.
I look forward to the interesting chat's I am about to read....I'm sure.
