Great site. Good information. Always glad to see people are still willing to share knowledge without demanding money for it.

Hey all, new member here saying hi! I'm in Canyon Country, just North of L.A. No satellite just yet, but I'm going to be ordering within the next week, and a great guy from another forum I'm a member of advised me to come here and read, read, read!
This is a phenomenal site and I am very happy to be here. I thought it was great that there was a place where so many aspects of home entertainment could be discussed. I'm currently a DISH Network subscriber... My DISH Network was a gift from my brother during the Christmas of the year that I was 19 years old. I have been loyal ever since and have no complaints other than the fact that sometimes customer service is a bit "off".
I was recently checking out the DirecTV website and noticed what looks to be the new "Choice" package. It's kind of what I'm looking to pay each month and with the exception of the SPEED channel, I really wouldn't be missing anything else. It's something that I will probably look into when my next DISH Network bill arrives (December - I pay annually).
I grew up playing video games and will hopefully own a Nintendo Wii very soon. I'm not really familiar with many of the new Nintendo titles but could probably own the system and simply be thrilled to play the classics. Other than that, I am a proud owner of a PlayStation 2. I have owned it since launch and am a huge fan of the Smackdown vs. RAW series, Tiger Woods 2007, and the entire Grand Theft Auto Series. I will likely purchase a Wii soon and will then follow up with the purchase of a 360 or a PS3 (since I could play the new GTA title on either).
I'm 24 years old (will turn 25 on March 16) and have just become a homeowner. I graduated from American Intercontinental University with an A.A. in 2004 and graduated with a B.G.S. from Fort Hays State University in 2006. I'm looking to enter a graduate program very soon but have considered earning a PhD from a foreign university that would be considered an equivalent to a Regionally Accredited university here in the states. I'm researching those possibilities over at DegreeInfo.com.
Alright, this was just the introduction (as requested). I didn't intend on it being this long... but I guess sometimes I just like to talk...
Hi all, I'm Steve owner and operator of Blacksheep Satellite Systems and Blacksheep Enterprises Solutions. I have set up as blacksheep on this forum but, I am also known as satguy on others. Looks like you all share a great deal of information, making this a great place to poke around. Thanks!
Hello. I love this site. It's so full of information. I wish I had found it sooner. I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico. We have an 8 foot mesh dish currently set up for c-band only but have just purchased a c/ku LNB and are going to attempt to get ku up and going. We do have the 4DTV reciever but havent' invested in the HDD200 yet. If the mesh dish doesn't work out with the ku we have an old 6 foot white one laying out there. We're going to play with it and see what happens. So expect me to be back to tap into your area of expertise.
