Weekday vs. Weekend. Diff. signal strength

I have a TV in the garage with a converter box hooked up to a simple set of rabbit ears. Every weekend, one particular channel doesn't come in even though I have no problem getting it during the week. This has happened consistently for the past few months, so I know its not just a freak thing that happened today.

Does anyone have any ideas? Do stations ever power down their transmitters on the weekend?

Yeah it likes the weekend off also.

Try giving a little more information about equipment and problem symptoms.

Check with the station to see if they are doing work on their transmitters on the weekend. We have one station that they just brought online in digital on Feb 12 and they shut down or lower their power on weekends while they are still upgrading and moving equipment around.
