Looking for success again in superheroes, the WB is developing an Aquaman project for fall 2006. Smallvillle writers Al Gough and Miles Millar will create and exec produce the action drama, along with Warner Bros. TV.
Set in the Florida Keys, the series will revolve around Arthur Curry, the eco-friendly DC Comics character who fights off threats to the environment. Like Smallville's more humanized and low-key Clark Kent, Curry reportedly won't be seen in costume, nor will he ride a seahorse. But whereas Smallville's Kent was introduced as a teen, Curry will be in his twenties.
