The US will do 1000% better at policing the world than the UN has done. The UN knew Iraq was paying off France Germany and Russia to kill any resolutions against them pre-war and did nothing about it.

You Dem's say there was proof Saddam had no WMD pre war. Then why didn't he just say come on in and look?!?! Why did he spend the entire time the UN inspectors were there blocking them from looking at anything that looked like a prime target. Why did he kick out the inspectors if he had nothing to hide?

He was VERY wrong. But I know that's 100% Bush's fault in your mind. Everyone looked at the same Intel and voted to go to war, but on the "brain dead" President fooled the entire world(makes people calling him a liar look even more stupid). Until the world finds out what was really on the "humanitarian" planes that flew into the Sudan while France bought saddam time in the UN we will not be able to say for sure what WMD there was.

Saddam was told by France Germany and Russia that no war would ever happen as long as he kept paying them the money from the UN oil for food scam. That is why we had to do it alone.

I just find it strange that the dems think Iraq was wrong but they want us to invade Iran China and North Korea.

If the war is such a blood bath to our troops, please explain the fact that more people were murdered in the city of New Orleans in 2005 YTD BEFORE Katrina hit than American soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan COMBINED!!! Why do you dems never touch this fact?

So when the polls show public support of the administration and their policies, it's a "mandate" which justifies everything they do...and when they show the American peole do NOT support them, it means nothing. How nice for them.

i lived in arizona for 6 years, goldwater was a God there. the mistake McCain made was trying to reach out to the mod dems, in an open primary state, and the party faithful will never forgive him for that.

BTW shane, the poll was not only gallop poll, it was CNN/USA TODAY-GALLOP, and i cant seem to find the demographics listed, WHY???

This just isn't true, there is not a civil war going on. There are people from outside of Iraq starting a civil war, there is not a civil war yet. Bob, please understand I'm not trying to say that the problems in Iraq are small, or that they don't exist. But as I've told you before I've been to Iraq, the country was a mess even before the first Gulf war. The dictator spent more money on building up his military, his palaces, his own pockets than he did on rebuilding his country after the Afgan war.
