i appreciate everyones help but now i'm really confused.
it seems that the other replies refer to 622, 625 & 722 which are dvrs and unfortuntly mine isn't and it looks a whole lot different.
based on the attachment i've attached(screen shot of back of sat
box 322) i'm still unsure which cable to put the splitter; coming from what connection?
do i remove the cable under "home distrib" labeled "ch 21-69 out"?

unhook the cable running to the "home dist ch 21-69".
insert a new piece of cable there (can be a short one im thinkin).
connect a simple splitter to the single side of that new short piece.
If you are going to run 2 TVs, connect a 1x2 splitter.
If you are going to run 3 Tv's, connect a 1x3 splitter.
connect the cable that was formerly on the "home dist" jack to any of the ports on the other side of the new splitter.
connect new cables to open jacks on that splitter and run them to the new tvs.
tune all new tv's to the same channel as your orginal tv2
now you can use your BLUE #2 remote at any of those TV's to select a dish channel.
