Want to install tivo on single lmb dish

I have a single lnb dish with 3rooms hooked up. I have regular reciever up front and a duel tuner reciever in my office that runs a tv in the office and my bedroom. How can I replace my reciever up front with a tivo. This may be a stupid question but everyone I ask at the retailers tell me that I need to buy a new dish in order to do this. Is this true?

Most receivers will sell you a dish when you order the TiVo for a mere $20 or so.

While you might not need a new dish, you might need a new multiswitch -- and that would be far more expensive than the dish.

Phase III dishes include a 4x4 built in multiswitch.

I'd recommend buying a package that includes a TiVo and a Phase III dish.

get a new dish, its cheap and a much better choice then trying to work around what out-of-date stuff you already have.
