At the heart of this 13-part, half-hour series is Dr. Daniele Behn-Smith, a 27 year-old family physician of First Nations lineage. A graduate of the prestigious medical program at McMaster University, Dr. Behn-Smith has been practicing among Canada’s indigenous population, where she has developed a deep interest in the intersection between western medical knowledge and the ancient wisdom and medical practices of tribal elders. With each episode, Dr. Behn-Smith heads to another part of the globe to learn how native healers successfully use the many medicines growing in the world around them. In her travels, Dr. Behn-Smith exposes a vast array of ancient healing traditions, and challenges viewers –and herself– to rethink core beliefs about traditional medicine and the very meaning of healing itself.

The city we live in might seem familiar; each day navigating between the same streets, restaurants, and landmarks making us feel as if we have mastered our surroundings. The ground view is a breeze, but what does that view look like from 2000 feet above the concrete streets. Take to the skies with hosts Keith Keaveney and Charles Luxton, as they join the men and women who clean the windows of towering skyscrapers. High above the busy city streets, these brave window washers become our tour guides revealing the beauty of these forgotten examples of art.

Adding to its amazing roster of tournament coverage, GAMEPLAY HD traveled to Las Vegas to cover the Global Gamming League’s Hip Hop Gaming League (HHGL) championship tournament. The best video gamers from the world of Hip-Hop played EA Sports’ NCAA Football 07. Eric V. of "The Baka Boyz" looked to retain his crown but Han Cholo, Murs, and Pacman Jones all attempted to put a stop to his reign as champion of the HHGL. The North Face Expeditions: Legends of the Lost World

The North Face Expedition Series, airing exclusively on RUSH HD, combines super-human feats of athleticism with super-human acts of kindness. The ongoing series of specials travels to some of the world’s most remote and visually spectacular locations, putting the spotlight on The North Face’s Global Giving Philanthropic Expedition Program, which funds and promotes overseas community-based social, environmental, and economic development projects. Legends of the Lost World is an astonishing human adventure epic, which showcases the natural wonders of a little understood corner of the vast Amazon basin. Seen through the eyes of four of the world’s top alpine climbers, the expedition’s objective is to climb the 2000-foot prow of Roraima, one of South America’s most mysterious landmarks. During the expedition, the climbers visited a hinterland school in Wayalayeng, Guyana, a small community of less then 120 residents. While there, they help install solar panels to provide electricity for community activities, a radio communication system for emergencies and to facilitate community decision making, and a TV/DVD player for educational and entertainment purposes.
