you have to call vonage and tell them what you are doing, they will remove the echo off of your line...the only problem is that, when you call or receive calls, more than likely the person on the other end will hear an echo of themself talking. I had Vonage working with my TIVO for almost a year, then i told vonage to put the echo canceler back on because of the echo complaints from people calling me. Thats just my 2 cents...
