Voice Remote and Hopper

I have a 1st gen Hopper. Dish recently sent me a new voice remote, for free. The new remote does not have a seperate Pause and Play Buttons which is fine for live or recorded TV but the pause button does not pause Netflix. Any one else have this issue?

It pauses on Netflix for me. Try a hard receiver reset, unplug the receiver and then plug it back in. Let it boot up and see what you get.
