VIP722 hard drives

Is it possible to use different hard drives in the same external enclosure or does each drive need its own enclosure (MAC addresses, etc)? I would like to use different drives to archive, but have an easy-to-change-drive enclosure.

Dittos on the BlacX box. I've got one on my ViP622 DVR (10 ehds and counting), and one on a server at work which is used as a backup device.

Occasionally I'll run into a drive not recognized when I plug it in, just hit the power button on the BlacX and that's resolved. Probably should actually get in the habit of using the power button every time.

I have had no issues using several different HDDs in the same external enclosure.
