VIP211 install help

I want to add a Vip211. I currrently have a Vip622 and VIP722. There are 2 wires that come off of my dish and go into my baseement. Once in my basement, the go into some kind of diplexer deal that takes the two cables in and outputes one coax. That coax goes under my house and I havent traced it. Basically, I want to add the 211 about 5 feet away from that diplexer box in my basement. How can I do it? Can i just put a splitter on the line that comes out of the diplexer? I appreciate any help. The only way you can add capability is to add a DPP44 switch $100-150 to expand the capability of your system. At the moment 4 tuners(2 dual receivers) is the most it will support. Splitters can not be used but you are totally free to try and learn the hard way.
