ViP 722 remote issue

res is having issues with remotes with ViP 722 DVR. The remote and dvr will sync when programming but when box and remote are delivered to residents apartment it will not work with residents magnavox tv which is brand new. We have tried a whole new receiver and remote and still have same outcome, tried a uhf remote and changed remote address. remote is a 5,4 ir. Please give feedback.

It sounds like the remote just needs to be programmed to the TV. If you send me a PM I'll send you the instructions and the codes we have for that remote and TV model. Thanks!

Magnavox TV a screamer? ... HD Florescent Backlight? did you try extending the UHF remote antenna to 6 or more feet from the receiver and away from the TV? Does the user have another TV that you can hook to, leaving the Magnavox *unplugged* from all electric, ... even if you have to run a 50 temporary cable down a hallway ... just to prove the issue is the noise the magnavox is putting out..
