vip 612 Buffer Problems

Is it normal for the 612 to make a stutter noise when paused and the feed to delay and stop when going through the guide? Everything works, its just annoying.

what audio output are you using ?
also, what do you mean by "the feed to delay and stop when going through the guide" ? A/V in the video window ? just audio ? just video ?

Its not doing the stutter like it did when going through the menu. I have it set to Dolby Digital/PCM. When I pause live TV, it makes this loud stutter sound that I can stop if I hit the pause button a couple times. It also makes it often when it gets to the end of playing back an event on the DVR.
