Hello - can the VIP 211 receiver output on the HDMI and the RF connector at the same time ? If so, is the RF output the SD format ?

My objective is an HD feed in the house to the plasma and the SD to the basement to a regular TV (the same channel of course).

Yes, it works very well. I do this with the HDMI output going to my Sony GWIII and the RF going to a coax line feeding another room. The 211 letterboxes widescreen content to fit the 4:3 television and the DVD recorder.
