Fallout 4 is having a free weekend on Xbox One and Steam. I'm sure there will also be highly discounted pricing to go with this. It's much too big of a game to play through during the free weekend but if you like big RPGs I recommend at least giving it a shot.

That was one of the few games I had to have on day one. I pre-ordered it for download and was able to play the very first day. I certainly got my money's worth out of it already.

Best Buy has brought back their common 1 TB external HDD for $40 sale. This thing is perfect for easily adding storage to your One or PS4. I have one for each system.

The Humble Monthly early unlock game for next month is Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. This is the remastered version of the game they made when they ported it to Xbox One and PS4 with all the DLC included.

For those who don't know how this works, If you subscribe for July you get Dark Souls 2 now and 5 more games in the first week of July. You don't get to see the list of games ahead of time but there is usually at least 1 or 2 standout games every month. Besides, DS 2 is already worth the $12 its own.

Bulletstorm Full Clip Edition is on sale today for $20 ($16 on GCU.) This is more in line for what this game SHOULD cost, as opposed to the $60 Gearbox was trying to swindle people out of beforehand. And while I can't speak to the quality of the PS4 version I CAN say that the One version is far from ideal.

I think the GOG Connect may be messed up right now. It's saying I don't have Downwell, which I clearly do. They may be having some issues with everyone hitting the site due to the sale.

Firewatch is $7.99 on PSN. It's a beautiful game that's worth checking out at that price even if I was a little disappointed in how the story played out.
