using splitter with dishpro single lnb

would it be possible to use a power passing splitter with a single dishpro lnbf.
Since dishpro uses signal stacking technology and both left and right polarities are constantly coming down the same coax, would it not be theoretically possible to use a broadband splitter (50-2150 Mhz) and split the signal to two receivers (dp301's) without having to run two cables back to the dish.

Or maybe use a splitter with one port powerpassing and the other port with a DC block to the other receiver since all dish receivers keep the lnb energized all the time anyway.

you can split satellight signal as long as it is before the switches..

In fact, E* makes and sells a DP Splitter.

Application for a split single bird feed is pretty limited, but can be useful.
