would it be possible to use a power passing splitter with a single dishpro lnbf.
Since dishpro uses signal stacking technology and both left and right polarities are constantly coming down the same coax, would it not be theoretically possible to use a broadband splitter (50-2150 Mhz) and split the signal to two receivers (dp301's) without having to run two cables back to the dish.

Or maybe use a splitter with one port powerpassing and the other port with a DC block to the other receiver since all dish receivers keep the lnb energized all the time anyway.

Let me know what you guys think, I did not know if this had already been addressed on this forum so if it has, please leave me the link. Thanks :)

So-are 721 owners screwed?

Can 501 HD be upgraded?
