OTA = Over The Air

OTA are your local channels received via a conventional television antenna. Can be very useful in poor weather when satellite reception is compromised. Also the only way to receive digital locals that DIRECTV doesn't carry.

Would this be in HD? I have been so wanting to watch the Cowboys in HD but cannont because local channels are not being shown in HD. Would this help?

This is how you would get your locals, if you can't get your locals in HD then NO this would not help.

If the Cowboys games are offered by your local station in HD, you might be able to pick them up if you have an HR20 (or an HR21 with an AM21). You must have a suitable TV antenna and one of the aforementioned receiver setups.
