Upgraded to HD

Got the 622 for $50 installed after talking to a couple CSRs and trying to get the best deal. Put me into another 24/mo commitment, which I'm fine with. I like Dish. Anyway I tried to get the thing shipped, but for some reason installed was my only option. No biggie, but I thought it seemed strange they couldn't just ship the thing to me. Was able to get the install bumped up to this Wednesday after checking the website and rescheduling my appt. Can't wait to enjoy that sweet HD. FWIW i'm a 2 year suscriber on autopay and paperless with the Cinemax. On my Dish n' up offer it had quoted me 150 installed/100 shipped for the 622.

if you dont already have HD they probably want to come out to make sure you have the correct equipment to see it (which if you dont have HD, you probably have a dish 500 which would not give you an HD signal).

I've got a dish 1000. Currently getting 110, 119, 129. The thing is I "moved" to Cleveland a while ago, but since moved back to my original place. And even though I moved back they never switched my locals back. To get the Cleveland HD locals you need a 500. Maybe that is what their system is doing.
