Upgraded OTA antenna question

I'm about 8 miles away from 6 of the local stations. Of the 6 channels that I should be getting I am only getting 4 of them. The installers checked each local's signal and kept it at its best position. Should I go ahead and request the upgraded antenna? My current antenna is at the peak of my roof so i'm as far up as I can go without a tower. Down the road in the direction of the local stations there are a bunch of trees that my antenna is aimed at. Would it even matter to get the upgraded antenna with having some trees a tenth of a mile down the road? Thanks for any help you all can be. I hope my message was understandable...

The antenna you have should work fine if adjusted right but i would call for either a service call to adjust that antenna with the possible a upgraded antenna.
