Upgradeable?

I currently Have Dish Latino Max! w/ Locals, 1 Dish DVR 522 w/ 2 TV's installed.
Well I want to buy an HDTV TV, but I'm afraid I can't upgrade to HD service without paying an arm and a leg for it.. My Cable co., Adelphia is finishing DVR and HD service upgrades to my area but aren't done, so DISH is my only option.

I am ready to cancel since the service has been on thin ice since the beginning.. Today one of the TV lost Video signal and hasn't been able to aquired it since early AM.

TIA if you can offer advice about the HD.

as an exisiting customer you can add an HD receiver to your account for $99

How would that change my setup?
I assumed going HD would required me to get an HD pak?
Can I add the 622 DVR HD receiver and keep my 522 SD DVR?
The setup would be 1 HD TV to 622 and 2 SD TV's to 522

PS the DISH signal just went out on all TV's.. Gonna call them right now.

yes you can add a 622 if you want, that will be $299 though.

if you want a 1 tuner no DVR HD, that's only $99

They wanted 600 bucks last time for a 9xx HD receiver, and 300 its still too much for HD service.. I might just cancel and go for Cable and wait for DVR and HD service..
