Upgrade original Hopper to new UI issues

No that doesn't "solve" the problem............it is just a work around. The problem is Dish taking away another feature that works & is used by their customers. Now by FORCING this so called upgrade, the customer gets screwed again.
They continue to increase prices & fees, yet take away features such as this, quick use of auto hop, etc.............all in the name of "progress"

You honestly think Im making an excuse for Dish.
No I was being my usual sarcastic self.
I'm the first one to even notice this PTA glitch and posted it here about 6 months ago.

Most 2 Hoppers people with the new UI didn't even notice this until I brought it too their attention.

So that tells you how popular that feature is.

I noticed lol.

But still, that really is the work around I do.

Im not upgrading my Dish account I can tell you that much.
Everything from here on out I own.

I have 2 -duo nodes, 2- solo nodes, 2- DPP44s, 1- DPP33, 2 -1.2k lnbs , 2- 1.4k lnbs, 1000+ dish, 1.4k dish ,1.2K dish , 2-211s

This was only $400 spent.
2 years of Just the protection plan, and 2- 211s is $400.

Of course most people wouldn't need all this. But I like always having a back up.

Thats one downfall that holds me back from Directv again.
Is the flexibility in setting up your own systems.
Dish will let you do anything and let you buy anything, Directv is a pain to find actually owned equipment worth the asking prices.
I can buy a brand new H2 for $125.
A used owned HR24 is that much owned.

I'll put up with U213 bugs.
